The project team directly involved in the proposed Cahermurphy II Wind Farm includes a dedicated in-house team that works with an engineering consultant, complemented by FuturEnergy Ireland and MCRE specialists in areas such as grid, stakeholder management, ecology and planning.
Michael McNamaraCommunity Liaison Officer
Michael spent 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry before joining Coillte Forest in 1999. He moved to Coillte Engineering in 2003 and then started as CLO in 2017. He really enjoys the face-to-face interaction at the door with local stakeholders.
Pádraig HowardMCRE CEO
As CEO of MCRE, Co Clare native Pádraig has extensive experience in all aspects of project management of construction projects, including renewable energy developments Callan Wind Farm and Cahermurphy 1.
Charlie LangleyProject Manager
Civil engineer Charlie worked in the construction industry before moving into the renewables sector 12 years ago. He is passionate about helping Ireland to become a more sustainable country and decarbonising our energy system.
Séamus HowardMCRE Project Manager
Civil engineer Séamus has vast experience in multi-million euro construction projects in the energy, commercial and residential sectors. He was involved in the successful construction and now operation of Cahermurphy 1 Wind Farm.
